September 27 to the anniversary of the World Tourism Day

Kyiv University of Tourism, Economics and Law is one of the leading profile higher educational institutions that trains tourism specialists.

On September 27, during the celebration of the next anniversary of the World Tourism Day, a festival of cuisines of the peoples of the world was organized.

The event was held in the picturesque area of the National Museum of Folk Architecture and Life of Ukraine. In the background of traditional Ukrainian landscapes, this event was perceived in a special way.

The event began with the introduction of the candidate of economic sciences, associate professor, dean of the Faculty of Tourism, Hotel and Restaurant Business Oleg Valentinovich Parubets, who thanked the organizers and participants of the holiday, and also, congratulating everyone, stressed that: "Tourism is an integral part of our life, since every person wants to know the world, and tourism is that method that allows him to know! " He was supported by the head of the department of science and postgraduate studies, candidate of historical sciences, associate professor, professor KUTEL Alexander Alikovich Kruchek, noting that "tourism is a holiday of those who are able to go beyond the limits of the daily routine of daily vanity, the experience gained is unforgettable in the formation of personality."

To greet joined the Deputy Head of the Department of Theory and Practice of Tourism Candidate of Sociological Sciences, associate professor, KUTEL Professor Irina Mikhailovna Minich, Deputy Head of the Chair of Hotel and Restaurant Affairs Candidate of Science (Economics), associate professor Natalia Vasilevna Buntova and other teachers of the University.

The program of the festival provided for the presentation of a country with deep traditions of hospitality, familiarity with the peculiarities of local cuisine and cooking technology. The competition was preceded by a tour of the Museum's territory, this created a special, creative atmosphere, inspired the participants to add emotionality to their presentations.

Among other most striking were performances of students of the first year of the specialty "Tourism", which presented the cuisine of Ukraine. Equally impressive was the presentation of Italian cuisine with their delicious dishes, offered by the students of the first year of the specialty "Hotel and restaurant business".

The presentations included not only the knowledge of the kitchen and the traditions of cooking, but also the peculiarities of the dishes and the traditional national dress of the participants.

After the summing up, all the participants enjoyed the delicious makeup with pleasure. The prizes were not only prizes and valuable gifts, but also a great mood, bright impressions, which were fully received by all participants in the event.
