Excursion students of Economics and Law School to the National Museum of Ukrainian Decorative Folk Art

February 14, 2013 the second year students of Economics and Law School Kyiv University of Tourism, Economics and Law by profession "Agent of tourism" visited the National Museum of Ukrainian Folk Decorative Art.

During the tour, students visited the exhibition of all kinds of Ukraine folk art: carpet making, weaving, embroidery, pottery, carvings and paintings on wood, glass and pottery, egg painting, folk art and iconography. Familiarize yourself with Ukrainian traditional clothes of XIX - beginning of XX century. with inherent local features.

Special impressed exhibition of works of folk artists of Ukraine: Katerina Bilokyr and Maria Primachenko that are considered to be the pearl of the museum's collection and belong to the world of art. In addition, students attended a program for "Valentine's Day" and learned about wedding ceremony "covering the young".

Tour provided an opportunity to summarize and organize students' knowledge on the subject "Travel local history", learn more about the arts and crafts of Kiev, to maintain interest in his native land, to popularize the work of contemporary painters.
