Meeting with the Nobel Prize Winner in Economics Vernon Smith

June 1, 2017 Rector of the Kyiv University of Tourism, Economics and Law Professor V.K. Fedorchenko took part in the meeting of the Union of rectors of higher educational institutions of Ukraine with Nobel Prize Winner in economics Vernon Smith, which was attended by Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Lily Grinevich.

Vernon Smith - American economist, professor, president of the International Fund, commonly known as the "father of experimental economics." He actively supports Fellows (Grant), many of whom are Ukrainian.

The meeting noted that in US schools, students have complete freedom of choice, the teachers complete autonomy, the educational process is transparent, very honest competition, because of the lack of government regulation processes. Many university students working in the library, participate in conferences, seminars, symposia, round tables, where defend their point of view.
