Research Laboratory "Sport Tourism" was established in December 2008, is headed by candidate of historical sciences, candidate of master of sports on the sports tourism Palienko Sergey.

The laboratory carries out intensive research in the field of sports tourism, in particular to develop the topic "Current problems of sports tourism in Ukraine", provide guidance to the department of physical education and sports tourism, organized mass sporting events.

Research results are published in international scientific conferences and published in professional journals.
